LA Regional Food Bank Operations Move to the City of Industry
Effective October 2, all agencies except agencies located in SPA 4 and 6 that currently pick up their LARFB orders will pick up their orders at the Food Bank's City of Industry warehouse. See the address below. This warehouse is approximately 16 miles from the Food Bank's 41st Street warehouse. Rest assured, your pick-up appointment day/time remains the same unless you were explicitly notified otherwise. After the move, we will have pick-up appointments available Monday through Friday at 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. If you're interested in these early time slots or in modifying your pick-up time or warehouse location, kindly contact Bryan Gonzalez at bgonzalez@lafoodbank.org or Adriana Gallegos at agallegos@lafoodbank.org
Please note: You can not arrive earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled pick up time. The City of Industry location does not have street parking available.
Agencies in SPA 4 and 6 that will continue to pick up their orders at our 41st Street warehouse will retain their current pick-up appointment day/time unless otherwise notified. Starting October 2, we will also have 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. pick-up times available at our 41st Street location. If you are interested in picking up during one of these earlier spots, please contact Bryan Gonzalez at gonzalez@lafoodbank.org or Adriana Gallegos at agallegos@lafoodbank.org
Please note: Shopping will only be available at the City of Industry warehouse.
Pasta is a staple in pantry boxes. Pair it with canned tomatoes and salmon for a quick and satisfying lunch. You can substitute salmon for tuna or chicken. Share these videos with your customers and let us know your feedback.
Here is a great resource on how you can practice food safety at your agency and at home to prevent folks from getting sick.
Training Calendar
Civil Rights Training (TEFAP Participants Only)
Civil Rights Training is mandatory training for all staff of volunteers at TEFAP Sites that interact with participants. The Food Bank Agency Relations Team offers this training monthly.
Do you need a refresher course or have new team members who would benefit from learning about online ordering, agency shopping, monthly reporting, or food distribution policies? Please ask all your staff or long-standing volunteers to attend the next virtual Food Bank 101 training!
