Agency Express Reminder
Follow Up Required If No Confirmation Email is Received
If you do not receive a confirmation email, your order has not been placed successfully. If this is the case, please contact a member of Agency Relations between 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. to assist with pushing your order through the system.
Orders not pushed through and a confirmation email sent by 12:00 p.m. on the ordering deadline, these orders will not be processed. If you need of assistance with order processing, please reach out to the following contacts:
Agencies may not add items to their cart outside of their ordering window, as these items will not be held until their designated ordering time window. Logging in the day before does not save products for your agency and will prevent the Agency Express system from processing orders correctly for other agencies.
Best Practices Highlight -
Food Safety and Wellness During Summer Distributions
Summer has officially arrived, and the heat during these summer months presents specific challenges for food distribution. It is essential to take additional precautions to ensure the safety of food and the well-being of all staff, volunteers, and community members. Below are some best practices to follow during the hot summer months at your food distribution.
Make summer BBQs healthier by choosing lean proteins like grilled chicken, fish, or plant-based options, and loading up on colorful veggie sides. Opt for whole-grain buns, fresh fruit desserts, and lighter marinades to keep flavor high and calories low.
Food, Nutrition, and Health Tips
Check out these other tips for healthy grilling from the American Heart Association.
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally funded initiative by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) that provides meals for children aged 18 and younger during school breaks lasting fifteen (15) or more consecutive days. Proper nutrition is essential for learning and growth, and the SFSP helps children return to school ready to thrive.
The program can be hosted at schools, libraries, churches, community centers, YMCAs, Salvation Army facilities, Boys & Girls Clubs, and other suitable locations. Click on the flyer below for information.
We have noticed a growing interest in using Alternate Pickup Forms at TEFAP sites. Please know that you can share this form with those in need among your neighbors. It allows individuals who cannot attend in-person distributions to authorize a trusted person to pick up food on their behalf. This initiative helps us ensure that all community members have access to food, especially during these challenging times. You can find the recently updated version of this form here:
All Food Bank agencies have signed an agreement detailing their responsibilities while participating in Food Bank programs. Below is a summary of the policies that all agency partners must adhere to. Otherwise, your account may be placed on hold until the concern is resolved.
All Agencies Agree:
To Properly and Safely Handle Donated Goods To abide by all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations regarding the safe and proper handling of donated goods.
Agencies should arrive at the Food Bank no more than five minutes before your scheduled appointment.
When checking in at the Food Bank, agencies must provide their Agency ID card, a Photo ID card (a license, State ID, or other official documentation confirming the representative's name), and legibly write their information on the sign-in sheet.
Shopping only occurs at the City of Industry Warehouse location.
Civil Rights Training is mandatory training for all staff of volunteers at TEFAP Sites who interact with participants. The Food Bank Agency Relations Team offers this training monthly.
