The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has contracted the services of a banking partner to process credit card donations submitted online. Our banking partner's secured server encrypts your credit card information so that it may be safely transmitted over the Web. Your credit card information will not be released by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank or its banking partner to any other party.

 

Security; No Liability

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has implemented security measures to help protect against the risk of loss, misuse and alteration of any information under the Food Bank's control.  We protect your online order information by using Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") technology. SSL encrypts your order information to avoid the decoding of that information by anyone other than the Food Bank. The Food Bank has been issued a Class 3 Secure Server certificate by Thawte Server, a leader in internet security, which is valid until 3/4/2011.  The certification can be viewed at https://www.lafoodbank.org/ by clicking the "Security Report" (lock symbol). Nevertheless, such security measures may not prevent all loss, misuse or alteration of information on the Site, and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is not responsible for any damages or liabilities relating to any such security failures. You understand that data and communications, including e-mail and other electronic communications, may be accessed by unauthorized third parties when communicated over the Internet. Furthermore, the Site contains links to other web sites. The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is not responsible for nor can the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank ensure the privacy practices or content of such other sites.

 

Opt Out

You may choose not to receive such information and/or to allow the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to use your information in the manner described above by contacting us directly at pr@lafoodbank.org. Refund Policy:
